Cavalier is a large male, unusually well-endowed, with strong bone, good proportions and a temperament full of mischief. His fleece is a 'fading fawn' color which starts on his topline medium fawn and transitions into beige on his side. He has dark on his lower legs and black fibers on his face and ears. We love his full square muzzle.
Cavalier has produced a beautiful black son out of a black dam. This was not a big surprise to us as black runs on both sides of his family.

Cavalier's three crias have all been daughters out of white dams: white, beige and medium fawn (solid). So far the oldest has had a single trip to the show ring and ribboned in a competitive class of beige juveniles at the VAOBA Expo in October 2008.

Cavalier produces nearly 9 pounds a year of luxurious fleece with density, staple and excellent brightness and a low Standard Deviation. He rose to the top of his juvenile class of light (beige and light fawn) males under Jane Tellier, who remarked on his superior brightness. Though his lack of color consistency has lowered his ranking in subsequent shows, his crias possess excellent color consistency as well as density, staple length and micron consistency.
